TACOMA — Police are still looking for the man accused in a violent attack on a lesbian woman.
The 45-year-old woman was attacked, stabbed and dragged by a leash early Sunday morning in what police are treating as a hate crime.
“It’s so horrific that she can’t even fathom how this could happen to anyone let alone herself,” said Gretchen, the victim’s roommate, who spoke on behalf of her friend because the victim is still so scared. “It’s so wrong.”
The woman was attacked around 2:45 a.m. Sunday morning as she left her home to look for her dog, which had run off, Tacoma police said Monday. Police said as she walked in the 900 block of East 51st Street, she passed a man and asked if he’d seen a dog run by. He pointed in a direction and she began walking that way.
As she walked into the alley, the man allegedly followed her and knocked her down from behind. The man attacked her, wrote on her in black marker and stabbed her multiple times with a pocketknife, police said. He also took her dog leash and choked her with it, police said.
Detectives say during the attack, the man screamed violent homophobic remarks and hate speech at the victim. He apparently tore away her clothes and wrote homophobic slurs on her body, and ran off when her dog began barking and biting him.

Perhaps the attacker was a queer looking to attack a boy in the alley, got what looked like a boy in the alley, then found it was not a boy and he went bonkers.

not true. it does not have to be serious. they would do this to be sure she didn’t have internal injuries plus check for head injuries, for anyone claiming to be attacked. to have a real doctor give them a once-over.
the article doesn’t mention serious or life-threatening injuries. it would if there was because the story would’be that much more severe/sensational. this is why it’s staged. staged stuff with fake gay attacks always is superficial because people will not risk ending their lives for perpetrating a hoax. hence superficial cuts and attacks with “pocket knives”.
Probably the result of a domestic with her partner and they made this story up when they got asked about the injuries at the hospital.
Here is a lead for the police; check out her girlfriend first. Lesbian relationships have a very high rate of domestic violence.

Pocketknife is most likely a 1-2” swiss blade with almost all the strikes being shallow, paused, and meticulous.
I’ve see a pocket knife attack. Within seconds the person had stabbed them a dozen times and blood was pouring. If the attack took long enough to write slurs, she’d be a pincushion.
Total hoax. Guarantee it.
Yeah, and I saw a story on the local news about this - this woman did NOT seem to be telling the truth by the body language alone and then this:

that’s a cliche right there.
Aside from concerns about shock, neck bruising and nail file, er, pocket knife cuts would look hospital-worthy to a police officer. I’m glad the missing dog showed up in time to finally bark at and bite the bad guy with the knife.
Either a hoax or another jilted, jealous, lesbian.
How would a random male stranger in the street at 2:45 AM know who she was or that she is a lesbian?

There are points in the story that doesn’t seem to ring true.
Lemme guess: she was alone, no witnesses, vague description of suspects, and no other similar crimes reported ever in the vicinity?
Left arm, left leg, jaw, and breast... Probably on the left side too. That’s a wide pattern...
Unless a person who is right handed stabs themselves because it’s easy to wind up and override the anti-stab defense most people have. She probably figured she had to stab herself to appear convincing.
