When is the govt. going to monitor what items are being purchased by Food Stamps at grocery stores? I see women who pay with Food Stamps in the checkout line and they have boxes of Sunkist Soda, Frito-Lay products, high-sodium content frozen dinners, and donuts, for the most part. Then they go out to the parking lot and place their groceries in their Cadillac Escalades.

I worked for a spell at a grocery store between high school and college. The mother of one of the people in my class bought THREE cart-loads of groceries....and paid 80%+ using Food Stamps.
Mind you, she’s not poor by any stretch of the imagination—she probably cooks the books of her enterprises to hide tons of money, making her look poor on paper. She has FOUR lines with Cingular. That’s not poor at all.
