I would doubt that she was a Christian...she’s from a liberal family, so she was probably a deist. I don’t think she was a Muslim, but she was definitely a fool. Like many women, she was completely addicted to a man (her Syrian boyfriend, who was captured but released) and probably would have done anything for him.
Poor fool, poor thing. I only hope she died in the airstrike and not in some worse way.

She was recognized in her high school years as a National Young Leader and received the President's Award for Academic Excellence in 2007 and the Yavapai County Community Foundation Youth Philanthropist of the Year award in 2005. In 2007, she received the Presidential Volunteer Award, recognizing her work with Youth Counts, AmeriCorps, America's Promise, Open Inn Turning Point, Big Brothers Big Sisters and other organizations.
