American ISIS hostage Kayla Mueller has been confirmed dead, the 26-year-old's family confirmed in a statement.
""We are heartbroken to share that we've received confirmation that Kayla Jean Mueller, has lost her life," Mueller's parents said in a statement. "Kayla was a compassionate and devoted humanitarian. She dedicated the whole of her young life to helping those in need of freedom, justice, and peace."
The statement did not elaborate on how it had learned of Mueller's death or the circumstances of her death.

Life is full of risk. Some risks are much greater than others. For example:
1. Driving without a seatbelt.
2. Playing golf during a thunderstorm.
3. Taking medicine.
4. Swimming alone in the ocean.
5. Flying in a commercial jet.
6. Smoking.
7. Joining the marines.
8. Telling Mike Tyson to his face that he’s a moronic, womanizing felon.
8. Being a young Caucasian female helping people in a war-ravaged, Muslim terrorist-infected country.
Obviously, not all risks are equal. I reserve the right to criticize anyone who takes on unjustifiably great risk. I also accept being criticized for my criticism and lack of tolerance for certain risks.
I think there are many posters on this thread who would be “shocked” at the number of missionaries who are currently serving in areas like this. I guess they are all just do-gooding morons waiting to be captured and tortured.

There were pictures of Kayla in AZ Republic on Sat 2-7 with one showing her with a cross in the background. Assumption would be that she’s a Christian. She was probably following her faith with the support of her parents. Yes, missionaries are executed routinely. They know the risks.

Well, I have read all the comments, and will add my two cents worth.
I agree with the posters who wrote that Kayla was probably brutally murdered by the ISI ‘animal’ brigades. I also have no doubt that she was subjected to brutal rapes before her demise. There is no logic in believing otherwise. Do zebras lose their stripes?
Poor girl. she was a young woman who was filled with an enormous love for people who are suffering. Unfortunately she did not have a sense of her vulnerability over there, and the sheer brutality of the Middle Eastern Muslims. Misogyny is the name of the game with them, and by her charity, I think she may have been ID’ed as a Christian too.
