You are aware of the communist, socialist and foreign anarchist roots of unionism, aren't you? Also the Commonwealth v. Pullis (also known as the Cordwainers case) ruling found that unions constituted a criminal conspiracy. In short, my estimation is the Big Labor thuggery is nothing short of mob extortion. As for issues such as child labor, overtime, sick leave and vacations, businesses take care of that without the meddling of union goons and an invasive government.
