I hope we get crazier during the current legislative session. :)

Consider the source, Alcee Hastings. Enough said.

Gosh darn it I wish they stop publishing this stuff.

For the official record, Texas is a completely insane place, they women are covered in green scales and the men shoot guns and drink beer constantly. We have no public education system, the streets are a mess, and the environment is crumbling.

(((PS If you are a conserative, right wing, Christian, believer in the true American spirit, and that the government should be as small as it can possibly be - come on down. We have lots of room for you. But these dang news stories about how successful Texas is are attracting an unsavory and unwanted element - liberals. So please help keep the truth about Texas quiet.)))

Perry had the perfect response.

The first Texas summer drives most of the weakling liberals off, though, so said protective measure isn’t all that necessary. :D

An elderly lady in my church told me today she was going to visit relatives in Texas. I told her I was envious.

Retired ten years ago.

Put my resume on the internet just for kicks, but all I can find are 40 hours/week jobs and permanent employment, driving 45 minutes just to get to work.

All I want is a 15hr/week job that I can do at home on the computer to keep me busy.

In Texas or elsewhere? And what kind of work would you like to do?

Alcee Hastings who, as a federal judge in Miami, was impeached by the Senate for embezzlement and bribery charges and removed as a federal judge. This did not, however stop him from running for and winning continuous seats in the House of Reps. THAT Alcee Hastings— a criminal, in fact.

Some nerve calling Texans crazy. He is a lying POS, and nutso for sure.

Don’t, unless you’re a conservative.

We have enough f’n liberals moving in. Our streets are clogged with cars with NJ, CA, NY, MA license plates.

Don’t come to TX — it’s bad, bad, bad here. Globul warming is more severe here than in the other 55 states, BBQ is no longer any good, air pollution is unbearable and people here are as unfriendly as anywhere else. If it wasn’t for my kids living here, I would move to NYC.

Texas is neither crazy nor “real America”. It is Texas, unique unto itself.
