It’s way past stupid. This device will embolden perp’s as they will know that whatever malfeasance they’re up to won’t result in their death. Consequently, violent crime will go up as will Cop injury and death rate.

Mmmm—would a “projectile” intended for “stunning” a 300lb plus thug only “stun” a 145 lb thug or might it kill him? Will LEOs now have to figure in weight and height limits or face civil rights investigations?
