im sure there are some who claim to be ‘religious’ people who have abortions but I think you’ll find the mass majorty are non religious/lefties. A TRUE Christian can NOT abort what God allows- period- (They can, but they are severely outside the WILL of God if they do, and they certainly can NOT claim it is God’s will that they murder via abortion-
The tenets and doctrines of Islam, on the other hand, he is an expert in because he was raised a Muslim and by all reckoning is still one. Occam's Razor,... nothing else as easily explains his weird behavior.
The Crusades were a DEFENSIVE action against a Muslim invasion of the West. They had already taken Jerusalem and kicked out all Christians and Jews. Pope Urban II started the first Crusade in 1095 at the request of the Orthodox church in Constantinople. They needed help defending themselves against the beheaders.

Absolutely it was- However, God, for His own purposes, is allowing it- Perhaps for our country going so far left and for the right NOT standing up against it-
Remember, God enriched this relatively tiny nation, along with another tiny nation, Britain, to become the world’s greatest superpowers in a very short period- He helped us achieve that because we worshipped Him and revered His name- It was unprecedented that such small nations could rise to such power in such a short time, Yet God accomplished that spectacularly- It is my belief that He is removing His blessings from this nation because it is starkly SHOCKING just how fast we have declined, how quickly we have become the laughing stalk of the world, how little we are respected now-
Our nation USED TO BE respected precisely because we reverted God and because we were them oral authority and enforcer I n the world- (Note, other nations did not LIKE that we were, BUT they DID respect our power and authority)- Now the world spits in our faces because we have lost our moral compass thanks to the liberal left, and I firmly believe that the shockingly quick degradation of this nation IS due to our turning our back on God and on Israel
I would rephrase this as Obama saying, in effect, “500 years ago, some Christians were as brutal and primitive as many Muslims are today.”

The oldest Christian churches are in (rather were in) the middle east. 600 AD all of the middle east and north Africa were civilized and Christian. All part of the Eastern Romain Empire. The Western Empire fell 100 years earlier but the heart of learning, wealth and civilization was in the Christen East, modern day Greece, Turkey, Egypt. Islam circa 800 AD took the most learned and advanced peoples on the earth back to the stone age. It can happen again. Islam is the face of evil.
