Vanilla is a rascist term that obfuscates their evil views...

You can have any flavor you want, so long as it rhymes with Vanilla! After eight years of Tutti-Fruity, Pink Slime, Devil’s Food and Mooch Hooch, I could use a simple bowl of Vanilla on top of my Dutch Apple Pie.

Vanilla?

I thought this was going to be a liberal quasi-racist slam on Walker.

But it’s Goldberg?

What is he thinkin using this vanilla term?

Well...
I happen to like a big bowl of vanilla ice cream,
with some microwaved crunchy peanut butter,
and some crumbled up vanilla wafers,
topped off with some chocolate syrup.

(its all that cliche about trying to herd cats, I guess)

While folks are trying to pick their ice cream flavor, I’ll be voting for Cruz.

Then I’ll get a piece of fresh homemade apple pie with a scoop of Vanilla bean.....sit on a beach log while and sip my Hennessy Richard Cognac.

It’s all easy... I’ll be voting for Cruz.

RE:”Vanilla is the most popular ice cream flavor in America, not because it is the best (that would be coffee) but because it is the least objectionable. Put another way, vanilla is the most acceptable to the most people; it's not many people's favorite, but nobody hates it..
And that's why Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is the vanilla candidate. “

The reason why Walker is appealing to many conservatives is because he has taken them to battle on their ground WI and not only beat them but beat back all their recall elections and attempted shutdowns.

Yes, he provoked the Dems there to try to shutdown the WI legislate and then fall into his trap and fail and get Dems to get ll the blame for it.

So OK, who do we have as an alternative on our side who beat the Dems at anything?

Failed gestures and blaming others don't impress me.

Impress me with results.

Beat Dems like Walker did. Show me that you are not just talk BS.

Vanilla is hardly the term I would use to describe Walker. He’s proven he can be tough as nail, he can push his agenda through, and he can take it as well as dish it out.

My first choice is still Cruz, but I would not be unhappy with Walker.

If the LA Slimes considers him to be Vanilla, Walker is anything but.

Always look at the source of comments like these. It's usually the New York Slimes, the LA Slimes or the Washington Pest.

We have had 6 years of a Tutti-Frutti Ice Cream with all sorts of candy smooched in and sprinkles all over it and it has given us quite the upset stomach.

I'll take plain Vanilla this time thank you very much...

Something simple, tried, and proven, nothin' fancy, old school....

Just as some of us have been saying: there will be none pure enough, none conservative enough, and none “ready for prime-time” for some on this forum. If the candidate is not 100% perfect in every way, they will be said to be a RINO or GOPe.

The Left really doesn’t have to do anything; we’ll take care of destroying our own candidates.

Maybe we can have another 4 million stay home in 2016...that’ll show everybody a thing or two.

We are so screwed.

A nugget in Walker’s budget:

“Republican Gov. Scott Walker’s budget would prohibit the state Department of Natural Resources from purchasing any land through its stewardship program until at least 2028 — if the program still exists then.

The budget the governor released Tuesday would place a moratorium on stewardship land acquisitions. It would last until the DNR’s debt service on purchases that already have been made drops to $1 for every $8 spent since the program’s inception in 1989. The program won’t reach that ratio until 2028. The moratorium is expected to save the state $13 million in debt by then, according to Walker’s budget.

The stewardship program is set to expire in mid-2020. Legislators could vote to renew it, but the program still couldn’t buy any land until it meets that debt ratio.

The stewardship program authorizes the DNR to borrow money for land purchases, boat landing repair, developing DNR property and grants to conservancy organizations and local governments for land acquisition. The Legislative Fiscal Bureau has estimated the DNR has spent $84.7 million on stewardship land purchases from mid-2000 to mid-2014. The state spent $87 million paying off stewardship program debt in fiscal year 2013-14 alone, with $73.5 million of that coming from tax dollars, according to the fiscal bureau.

Republicans have long criticized the program, arguing it removes land from the tax rolls, closes off too much land to hunting and fishing and has run up massive debt.

The budget Walker signed in 2013 reduced stewardship borrowing authority from $60 million annually to $47.5 million in that budget’s first year. The spending plan set the limit at $54.5 million in the second year and the $50 million in each after that through mid-2020. That budget also capped the amount of stewardship land the DNR can own directly at 1.9 million acres, prohibited the DNR from buying land outside existing project boundaries without approval from the Legislature’s budget committee and directed the DNR to sell 10,000 acres by mid-2017.............................”

“Vanilla is the most popular ice cream flavor in America, not because it is the best but because it is the least objectionable.”

Nonsense! What about all those ice cream toppings? And what flavor do they go best on? Vanilla.

Vanilla is America’s favorite because of *what you can do with it.* It has nothing to do with being less liked than any other flavor.

I like Walker, but he looks a bit too cozy with the Ryan/McConnell/Boehner GOPe posers. So by extension Chamber of Cronies approved. That means more of the same/do-nothing/lets-not-rock-the-boat vanilla agenda.

His recent ambiguous comments regarding amnesty for illegals makes one wonder if he is being honest. A country without borders is not a country. The unpatriotic chamber of cronies want to manipulate the market rate for labor wages by ignoring the rules. They don't care if the country suffers as long as profits are great.

After eight years of Barry, and assorted libs before him, can the country afford pale pastels? Is it not time for bold colors?

Its time for bold, its time for Ted Cruz.
