Every single “conservative” has said they’re open to reform and open borders.

We need somebody with the balls to shut the border down, build a wall lined with landmines, and is ready to deport 35 million back to their 3rd world homes.

I don't trust a so-called conservative who hasn't been in DC. They have no voting record to prove they're really, really conservative. At the very least, a governor would have to be a very strong voice that has already influenced voting in DC to support constitutional conservative values and probably burned some bridges.

Scott Walker seems to be about cheap labor for his chamber of Commerce buddies, and anything else they want

Jeb will never be forgiven for letting Teri Schiavo starve to death.

Christies and overstuffed elitist buffoon and bully who doesn't seem really conservative.

Perry's better than them, but I'm not sure he can "herd cats" and get anything changed in DC.

Jindal is the only governor I can think of who seems really solid, both in his principles and his ability to both articulate them and convince other people about their merit.

Easier and cheaper than actually deporting all those illegals and, necessarily all those Moslems legal or illegal, is arresting and jailing anyone who hires an illegal in any capacity, rounding up and deporting representative groups in various locations around the country every couple of weeks and sequestering all their property and reachable funds in perpetual escrow. Self deportation will occur for perhaps a great majority of the rest. Then there is just some mopping up.
Eisenhower showed us a system that works. He rounded up bunches of illegals, then almost all Mexicans, and put them on ships depositing them well south of the border in Mexico. Many more left of their own volition.
