An elementary school suspended a boy who arrived at school last week with what he alleged was a powerful ring that appears in J.R.R. Tolkien's 'The Hobbit' and 'The Lord of the Rings' fantasy books.
Aiden Steward was suspended from Kermit Elementary School in Kermit, Texas, over a Thursday incident, The New York Daily News reported.
While speaking to another boy, 9-year-old Steward said he would able to use the One Ring and turn the fellow student invisible, according to the newspaper....
Jason Steward told the newspaper 'I assure you my son lacks the magical powers necessary to threaten his friend’s existence. If he did, I'm sure he'd bring him right back.'.....
The website reported 'The 9-year-old has been in in-school suspension for referring to another student’s skin color and got in trouble for bringing a kids’ book about pregnancy to school.'..

No point taking a chance somebody that dangerous might devolop magical powers and suddenly start to make everybody invisible; why, that would be utter chaos.
We are quickly approaching the point where PC becomes and existential threat to the Republic.
But maybe the other student deserved to be made invisible!
Better to homeschool to kid. Protect what creativity/imagination he had left.

Two of the disciplinary actions this year were in-school suspensions for referring to a classmate as black and bringing his favorite book to school: "The Big Book of Knowledge."
“He loves that book. They were studying the solar system and he took it to school. He thought his teacher would be impressed,” Steward said. But
the teacher learned the popular children’s encyclopedia had a section on pregnancy, depicting a pregnant woman in an illustration, he explained.
As bad as things are, just wait until his peer group takes the reins.

When I was 6, I had an insatiable curiosity about everything. One day my mother had occasion to refer to my penis. I indignantly demanded to know how it was she knew the name of my part and I didn’t know the name of hers. Each answer led to more questions and before long I had gleaned the human reproductive process in its glorious entirety. I took it to be a straightforward and elegant arrangement. No one ever cautioned me I now possessed sacred knowledge. The 2 young sisters next door confided they had no understanding of the mysteries of birth and I proudly(and innocently)explained the grand plan from start to finish. It was a day or two later; after their mother spoke to my mother, when I learned not all knowledge is to be shared freely. No storks or cabbage patches for those two, I’m afraid.
You are betting on PC liberals, I'm betting it's a wacko Born-again who thought the boy was actually practicing witchcraft. Between the magic ring and the pregnant lady illustration, someone at the school probably thinks the boy is possessed by demons.

I’m glad he didn’t mention anything about his dad having the fire-breathing dragon in the garage, or the Merlin-sword sticking into a big rock in the backyard, or the enchanted mistress that his dad sees on weekends in Odessa. You sure don’t want the cat out of the bag (as we say in Bama).
I know a little something about Texas, and it ain't the PC crowd responsible for this.
So if, just if the 9 year old killed this student the elementary school would be free of a law suit. This is part of the insanity we call liberal pc
