British citizens think worse of Israel than they do about any other non-European country except for North Korea, a British survey published this week found.

Answering the question "Which of the following do you feel especially unfavorable toward?" 35 percent named Israel – scoring two points worse than Iran, the poll found.

With 47 percent, North Korea won the worst score, the Chathan House-YouGov poll found.

A strange dynamic considering that the BBC is a total left wing organization and the vast majority of Jews are leftist.

You would think the two would be natural allies.

In recent findings, Churchill’s sister implored him not to convert to Islam. I found this very hard to believe as well but it seems that he was indeed considering it in his wild youth...look it up.

Churchill, age 25, wrote the following in "The River War":

How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property – either as a child, a wife, or a concubine – must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen: all know how to die: but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.

To classify him as a closet Islamist based on an isolated comment from his future sister in law is idiotic slander.

I have read about what he thought about Islam in his more mature years. I am not saying he was a closet Islamicist, he wrote what he wrote as you have clearly shown but recent letters have surfaced that imply he was, at some point, early on in his life, seriously examining that absurd faith.

I did look it up. Just as I am infatuated by ancient Egyptian and Mayan culture, does not mean I want to convert to those religions. So it was with WC about Muslim culture.

I also have a small Buddha statue that I admire for its artistic value, that does not mean I desire to be a Buddhist.

"Seriously examining"? Can you produce a single letter written by Churchill to support that absurd claim? No, you cannot.

Being a life long Tottenham Hotspur fan and growing up in north London you become aware of anti-semitism at an early age. Opposing fans reguarly chant ‘Death to the Jews,” or “Hitler’s coming after you,” etc. at every match. Chelsea and West Ham fans even imitate the sound of the holocaust gas chambers with loud prolonged hissing directed at us.

Jews were the minority group racists always hated before black people and then Pakistanis began to outnumber them in England.

I’m a proud member of the ‘Yid Army’ as Spurs fans refer to themselves, match of the season next Saturday vs Arsenal at home...

This is a worldwide spiritual problem.

It sure is. islam is a very active demonic infection with obvious presentations of symptoms, whereas the Western world's spiritual infection is more insidious, presenting itself in the guise of "tolerance" and the hidden violence of abortion. Either way, ol' springheel jack seems to be getting the upper hand.

For now.

1—Britain has a minor history of anti-Semitism, compared with Europe. You have the 1290 expulsion, but we had a Jewish prime minister when you were debating Dred Scott. And it was the British who stood up to Nazism, even when alone, and saved tens of thousands of Jewish refugee lives in 1938-39.

Britain historically has kept anti-Semitism on the fringes of society, unlike Europe. It has been carried out by extremists like Oswald Mosley or the BNP, or confined to some of the upper class. And the British public rejected Mosley, anti-Semitism and Fascism then and now. The BNP cant even make enough votes to retain their deposit.

And Britain/UK is not England: Scotland, Wales and Ireland/N Ireland have no history of anti-Semitism at all.

The Jewish population of Great Britain lives happily without any major anti-semitism. In fact, Judaism is openly celebrated as a long standing and vibrant part of British culture. British TV ran Jewish documentaries across all five of its network channels last year. Did America?.

British Jewish entertainers, writers, politicians and businesspeople openly celebrate their Jewishness. The London East End Jew, with his sharp wit and mouth is as well loved and known a cultural icon as the Glaswegian or the Cockney.

The current British Prime Minister is part Jewish. As is the deputy PM. As is the leader of the opposition party(Labour). So you have Jewish-descended people in the three most important political positions in the UK. Are Obama, Biden and Romney Jewish?......

The British people are no more antisemitic than their American cousins.

The UK is the nation that rejected the naked antisemitism of the 1930’s Fascists, and continues to reject the antisemitism of the BNP and other fringe neo-nazi parties and groups. The nation that stood alone against Hitler, while America and others stood by. And the nation that liberated Belsen and saved Jewish lives.

To suggest that the majority of British people are antisemitic OR that the jews of Britain are victims of mass cultural or physical antisemitism is a downright and disgusting lie.

2—So the Irgun and Stern gangs were just brave freedom fighters?. If they are Arab, Irish or anyone else, they are terrorists, when they are Jewish, they are ‘terrorists’, with all that that suggests. Why the unwillingness to admit they were fanatics and terrorists?. If the IRA were terrorists, so were the Irgun and Stern gangs.

BTW, you ARE aware that the latter group met with Nazi representatives in 1941 to try to agree to a deal whereby the Stern gang would attack British in Palestine in return for a free Israel and unmolested passage for Jews to Palestine if the Nazis won the war. That’s how fanatical Abraham Stern was.

3—British people are well aware of the Jewish Brigade (hell, we have grown up on Tobruk on the TV) and the pro-Nazism of the Arabs. We aren’t as ignorant of history and as badly educated as you lot.

4—96% of the UK is NOT Muslim. 92% is white. Muslims make a lot of noise, but hold NO major political, social or economic power.

5—The 2014 ADL global study of anti-Semitism has found the UK to be the 6th LEAST anti-Semitic country in the world. One point AHEAD of the United States!.

That would be the 96% NON MUSLIM Britain?. The one where Muslims have NO major political, economic or social power?. The UK which Jewish groups have found to be the 6th LEAST anti-Semitic nation on earth, AHEAD of the US.

Exactly.

Who were asked?. And VERY importantly, these questions were asked about ISRAEL not Jews. Criticism of Israel is NOT anti-Semitism!. Its no more ‘antisemitic’ to criticise Israel as a nation state than its ‘racist’ to dislike Obama.
Equating criticism of Israel with actual anti-Semitism is a lazy and cheap trick.
