I can only afford gated communities. This is our future. Everyone, including the “elites,” have an instinct for survival. And I don’t believe that the so-called elites are leading us. We are personally responsible for our own lives and choices.

Yes, and not so wise either. They feel the storm will bypass them b/c of their great wealth. Its just not that way. The world is going to change in ways they could have never imagined or planned for. Money is good for some things and not so much for others.

There was one guy I read about, back the late 70’s. who was determined that the world was going to be destroyed in a nuclear war.

Because of this, he searched out the ideal place to settle, so that he’d be safe.

And in late 1981, he emigrated to the Falkland Islands.
