5.4 cents per round of Winchester at Wal-Mart if you can catch it. I’m going to need exactly 20,800 rounds this year and I am at 8500 at the moment. Long way to go.
I had 20,000 rounds of CCI in a storage that got flooded. I tried a few(nine) and some worked and some didn’t. I don’t know what to do with them. Freepmail me if you have any suggestions.
Smart promotion. They’ll probably lose a little profit on the ammo, but they’ll draw a bigger crowd to the show and recoup it I’m sure.
My wife and I received .22 revolvers at Christmas from our son-in-law (hers, a .22LR to shoo the coyotes when she’s in the yard, mine, a .22 Mag to add to my arsenal). Fortunately, he also gave us some ammo, because finding any .22 rounds in these parts is turning into an Easter egg hunt. Even more fortunately, he runs a gun counter at a pawn shop, so he can find things in his ‘network’ that you won’t find retail.
Just a 100 mile drive down highway 12 from the CCI plant in Lewiston, ID. Their distributer may be keeping costs down by having it shipped direct from the plant.
In November and December of last year availability seemed to loosen up and prices seemed to drop a little but since Christmas supply has dried up again and the prices are back up.
I can get 7.62x39 cheap now.
