Cavett made a career out of dropping names of celebrities he supposedly knew. It was embarrassing to watch. When Woody Allen was revealed as perverted pond scum, Cavett lost most of his cred.
He made a cameo appearance in Beetlejuice.
They spew this bitter bile in everyone's face they disagree with, but cannot take it when anyone is impervious to their childish "in your face" spittle blasting! They are hideous and oblivious to the obvious!!!
Why all the anti-Palin articles now? Is Mitt scared she might run against him in 2016? Or are they all so bored and have nothing else to write about that they have to continue to smear her? This sh** gets old real fast - why don’t we just substitute Hillary’s name in all these articles? DIck Cavett is a has- been and a never was.

I hate to say it....but you have to be over fifty years old to remember Cavett. I don’t think he’s been on network/cable TV since early 80’s. If you mention his name to any thirty-year old guy...no knowledge. Kinda like mentioning Boy George, Little River Band, or Reggie Jackson.
