Yes, there is a lot of truth to that point.
And they are doing that as we speak – and have been doing it for the past few years – but at some point reality has a way of becoming… well real.. and it no longer can be ignored.
The USSR tried the same thing for years, but eventually it collapsed from within.. hopefully it won’t take 70 years..

Forget about Obama’s impeachment.
He will crown himself emperor in front of the SCOTUS and Congress, after which he will crown Moochelle Empress and will demand that the two branches of government swear allegiance to him and they will all comply and then he will reign, er rain on their parade.
I have heard that argument ad-nauseum but it really doesn't hold water. If Adolf Hitler was deposed in say 1937 or so and and replaced by say Von Ribbentrop or Keitel, there is little doubt history would have been quite different since AH himself, and his extreme views were the driving force behind the Nazi movement. He was the head of the snake, and without that cult of personality, the movement loses steam. Now back to Biden: he's an old fool reading his lines. He isn't charismatic, and other than government perks, would probably just assume retire and spend time with his grandkids. Obama however is a completely different animal, just like AH mentioned above, and the concerns regarding the replacement of Obama with Biden are like not driving to work because you might squash an insect on the way.

The 2012 election should confirm in everyone’s mind that we’re talking a cult of personality with His majesty the Dear Leader.
That cult will be broken if Obama is removed – witness that Biden is not the ‘front runner’ for 2016.
Even if Biden were to take over, that would be a far better fate than Obama destroying the country.
That’s not going to happen – for all it’s faults this isn’t a 3rd world banana republic – although Obama would like to think it this way.
No, he know he has to follow a fine line with the outward pretense of abiding the Constitution or else the whole thing falls apart.
He has to have his party behind him for the time being – and at some they will realize what he is doing is going destroy the DNC in the process [example: the NAZI party is outlawed in Germany]
No matter what he’s done for them, at some point the Democratic National Communist party will have to turn on him to preserve their power. Obama doesn’t care if he trashes the DNC, he’s got bigger plans in trashing the country.
Even further on, his basic authority over the military is vested in the Constitution – if that’s is clearly gone by his pen and phone, that authority waves ‘bye-bye’ and he can’t risk that.
I’m not so sure about that “silent majority”. The guy isn’t much worse than he was 4 or 8 years ago and he was elected easily both times.
Maybe there is a “comatose majority” or something.
Part of the problem is that we let the media choose our candidate for us.
Millions stayed home because of it.
At some point the GOPe is going to have to get off their derrieres and take the risk of being called Racist!
The founding fathers risked a lot more that those slugs can even conceive of.

I have heard some supposed constitutional lawyers say it would be UNCONSTITUTIONAL to impeach a black. Disparate impact, they say. Motivated only by white haters.

I guess he wouldn’t do exactly that, but he may do the equivalent.
I won’t put much past him and his ilk – it just would be nice if we had an opposition party to stop him.

If it was a choice between those two I’d take Biden, too.
