Because cowards in both political parties refuse to impeach and convict, or do anything else to effectively challenge the Outlaw.
Because criminals that are both parties are enthusiastic supporters of the project. Some are fools who think they will be part of the Politburo and ranking members of the nomenklatura when it is all established. Most don't actually understand the ramifications of their cherished totalitarian project being implemented by a Moslem. A few are actual cowards who see the future and are trying to position themselves to be killed last. Most are wrong, even if it all comes to pass. Most will not survive the transition. It is a cliche that the Revolution eats its children but it is also a truism.
