Getting ready for my Cataract Surgery on the 4th of Feb. Should make things look a lot better :-)

This vet is having the same surgery in March.

My Dad told me to never get old; guess I didn't listen to him :-)

Good luck!

Hai! ~ Job settling in just fine. Missed out on the trip to the Super Bowl since there was a more senior FO who pulled rank LOL - but I have some fun trips scheduled, one to Vegas and another to LA ... we’re a bizjet company for hire so we go where the clients want to go. We’re non-schedule so we fly when there’s customers hiring us ....which is pretty busy.

Hi Ma!

Freezing here and it is going to continue for the coming week. Heating bills are out of sight. Nothing to do but bundle up and layer our clothing.

HUGS

WELCOME TO THE

(where our troops, allies
and their families can refresh themselves)

Good morning, Everyone.

Good morning to our

Military, our Allies, and their families.

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen
for today's activities
Making a quick stop to check in before it gets busy.

I'm looking at the pilots in the Globemaster
with all those controls and I'm like,
those pilots wouldn't have a problem
with driving and texting
cause it would less distracting
than all those dials and screens. LOL

Bad news, sort of. Starting in February
I will have a roommate in my office.
I will be training one of the secretaries
to take over my position when I retire.
This means I'll have someone looking over my shoulder,
which means I'll have less time at the Canteen.
I'll have to post early and then check pings during lunch break.

Oh, well, I'm off to make my rounds.

The FR Canteen is

Come in, sit down.
Grab a cup of joe, or tasty tea.
Mingle a bit, chat with the troops
or family member.
There's always plenty of conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS in the FR Canteen.

REMEMBER THEM ~ DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM

FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT

Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allied military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.

My eye doctor said that there's been great improvements in the procedure in recent years, which improve eye sight tremendously.

Pro, do you have to use VA doctors for yours? Or can you go to whomever you want and VA will pay?

Good morning Pro ((HUGS))

My Dad told me to never get old; guess I didn't listen to him

LOL, hubby says whoever said growing old was easy is a liar! I agree.

So, you do have nice p/t work hours; hope I can find something like that close to home (when I'm ready LOL).

Well, days are getting longer. Now if we can just make it through February without major snow, I'll be a little happier (can't be happier when morning temps are in the teens).

Hope you have a terrifically, totalicious Thursday.
