You’re simply out of touch to the vast and overwhelming number of consumers in today’s market — whether or not you like the way they think. Just because this vast consumer base doesn’t operate like you or think like you doesn’t make them worse off than you. That’s where you go wrong.

The companies accommodate themselves to the REALITIES of the consumer and how they think and operate. The ones that do this well, are VERY SUCCESSFUL ... just like Apple shows us.

This is how the vast and overwhelming majority of the consumers are going to think and evaluate “what they can do”. They are going to say, first of all, “How much money do I have to take out of my pocket right now to do this?” THEN, they are going to say, “How much do I have to pay each month?”

NOW ... if the money “out-of-pocket” is satisfactory to them, and they are okay with the monthly amount ... THEY BUY! And that’s about it.

Again, you’re simply OUT OF TOUCH with the consumer market and how this vast and overwhelming market works. They DO NOT work like you think, and that’s “YOUR PROBLEM” and not theirs.

Bandwagon and Inevitable Victory. Bandwagon-and-inevitable-victory appeals attempt to persuade the target audience to take a course of action "everyone else is taking." "Join the crowd." This technique reinforces people's natural desire to be on the winning side. This technique is used to convince the audience that a program is an expression of an irresistible mass movement and that it is in their interest to join. "Inevitable victory" invites those not already on the bandwagon to join those already on the road to certain victory. Those already, or partially, on the bandwagon are reassured that staying aboard is the best course of action.
