agreed. the article states “Davis says there are thousands of men in Carnell Alexander’s shoes because Michigan doesn’t have paternity fraud laws that protect men”. but I don’t have any idea why you would have to have a special law to cover what is on the surface a very straightforward case of fraud, paternity or otherwise. fraud is fraud

The problem is, he did not show to contest it. When one defaults, the courts make reversal is very difficult process. Yeh, I know, even when he didn’t receive notice. It’s a mess.
