Agreed. However in this case there was an anesthesiologist in the room. Epic fail on her part.
We don’t know who the heck was in the room because if there were a an anesthesiologist in the room no way would she have died..that’s the whole point, to monitor her. My brother had a colonoscopy done last Friday, he paid for the doctor AND the anesthesiologist to be in the room with him because for profofol you must have one in the room at all times. When I have gotten sedated I don’t use profofol so for regular sedation it can be done by your doctor, but with profofol you must have one in the room..don’t know what those idiots were doing at the time but they were NOT watching her, they just let her die..she died for nothing..a simple endoscopy my Mom has one every two years, its not a surgery its just to check your throat and stomach and for this she died
