Pope Francis Is A Leftist And Must Be Called Out
The Federalist ^ | Jan. 26, 2015 | Mauren Mullarkey

Don’t pick a political fight with Pope Francis? The title of Rachel Lu’s recent essay and the timidity behind it reminds me of a old Jewish joke.

Max and Moishe are being escorted to the execution chamber in a Nazi prison. In a sudden gesture of defiance, Max raises his arm and gives the guards his middle finger. Horrified, Moishe pulls his arm down and blurts, “Please, Max, don’t make waves.”

Just so all the reflexive excuses for Pope Francis’ dismaying behavior and increasingly obvious ideological bent. Lu forgets there exists such a thing as a loyal opposition. She cites criticism of Francis as evidence of a “war.” A Republican war at that. Doing so, she strays into the same reductive trap set by the mainstream media that she wants conservatives to avoid.

Please read this article. It confirms and expands on the worst fears most of us had about this Pope. Indeed, he is nothing but a white Obola in clerical garb.

Once people on the left and social media outlets (filled with kids and leftist O-bots) started “coming around” and “liking this guy,” my suspicions became manifold. Now that I’m seeing and hearing this pontiff more, I’m starting to understand that he’s not the Pope we need in a world filled with evil; he’s the Pope the world wanted to spite Catholicism.

From my limited readings about the Jesuits, I’ve always gotten the impression that they are more or less religious Communists.

I didn’t have to read this article to see the source of his faith and it seems to be heavy on socialist propaganda with the Bible as a prop when needed. Sorry to Catholic faithful, if this man, dubbed as white Obama, can be selected to be head of your church, you should seriously look at a different alternative. He will take Catholics down the drain as Obama has taken US.

Chalk one more up for being in the wrong side. Whose left? It’s easier to keep track of whose left.

My late uncle was a Jesuit. He was anything but a Communist.

What the current generation is like I can’t say. Would not doubt if there are a lot of them.

I was onto him early on, and described Pope Francis as being to the Catholic Church what Obama is to America.

Years ago on FR I admonished Catholics to confront their Bishops who were expressing the Bishop's personal opinions on things like the death penalty, implying they were Church dogma.

The move to subvert the Catholic Church started years ago, and Pope Francis is the fulfillment of that desire. -Tom

The last paragraph of this article shows Francis is just as much a Manchurian Candidate for the Church as Obola is for the U.S., FTA:

Earlier this month, Peter Berger reported in The American Interest that Leonardo Boff is an advisor to the pope on his forthcoming encyclical on climate change. Boff, a former Franciscan priest, is one of the major proponents of Liberation Theology, rejected as radical by both previous pontiffs. In March, 2013, at the time of Francis’ election, Boff told the press that Jorge Bergoglio was more liberal than people supposed. His conservatism as cardinal was due only to pressure from the Vatican. Rorate Caeli recorded Boff’s prediction: “He is now the pope and he can do whatever he wants. Many will be surprised with what Francis will do.”

He appears to be an evil man in a post that demands a good and godly man.

The Muslim President and the Black Pope. The right combination for Disaster........ So sad to see this happen. I guess the Powers that put Obama in the Whitehouse couldn’t wait for Pope Benedict to die so they evidently forced him to retire to bring us to this.

The Pope that is too busy criticizing us to notice that the Muslims are Viciously murdering Coptic Christians in Egypt, etc.

We are All Coptic Christians now. See the earliest printed Gospel of St. Mark:

We’ve had bad popes before, and the Church has endured. This too shall pass.

I’ll rely on Christ’s promise that the gates of hell will not prevail over the Church.

It’s pretty funny to me that those white South Americans fancy themselves “anti-colonial”. Indigenous they are not.

Hey, dingbats - YOU are the colonizers!

I’m SURE they’d say this about white americans, why deny it about themselves. Go back to Europe if you feel that way about things.

Scary.

Now the Pope seems to be embracing the idea of trans-gender marriages giving a private audience to one couple. On homosexuality, he remarked “Who am I to judge”

To the faithful Catholics, he seems to have contempt.
“This past October, Francis took aim at “ideological Catholics,” calling them “a serious illness” within the Church. What is Francis, if not an ideologue?”

And admonishing faithful Catholics “not to breed like rabbits.” I'm sure he could have gotten his point across much more diplomatically, but he chose not to. Too bad he doesn't give practicing Catholics the benefit of not judging them.

Francis appears to be an Argentine populist in his political views. This is not a good foundation for thinking coherently about social, economic and political issues. He may be orthodox on any number of important doctrinal issues, but when he drifts into social policy, one should be on guard.

Save your energy. Read the predictions of St. Malachy. This Pope is “Peter the Roman”, the last pope.

“In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Peter the Roman, who will feed his flock among many tribulations; after which the seven hilled city (Rome) will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people “.
- translated from the Latin. St. Malachy predicted his own death.
