I have driven by Little Rock many times. I almost always saw C-130s flying around.
I was surprised to learn the base was NE of the city as it seemed like I always saw them South of Little Rock. Maybe my memory is just getting bad.
I just realized that I have not heard an AC-130 flying around at dusk in a long time. Not sure the reason but I used to hear them almost nightly. They were flying out of Hurlburt.
