Vatican City, January 26 - Pope Francis on Saturday received in a private audience a Spanish transsexual and his girlfriend after the man wrote to him saying he had been cast out of the church in his native city, Spanish daily Hoy reported Monday. The transgender male, Diego Neria Lejarraga, a 48-year-old former woman, wrote to the pope some time ago saying he had been "marginalised" by Church officials in the city of Plasencia, in the southwestern region of Estremadura, Hoy said. Neria, a believer and a practising Catholic, said he had been rebuffed by elements of the local clergy and claimed the parish priest had called him "the Devil's daughter", Hoy reported. Francis phoned him twice in December, setting up Saturday''s meeting in St Martha's House, the Vatican guesthouse the pontiff lives in, Hoy said. The pope has said the Catholic Church should be more accepting of gays but recently failed to muster a big enough majority of cardinals to change doctrine on the issue. Asked about the reported meeting, official Vatican sources declined to comment.
Well, if Francis does hang out with prostitutes, maybe he should try to convert them. Something like tell them their sins are forgiven and go and sin no more?
That’s the thing Francis never says. He seems to believe that he’s not supposed to help the lame, the halt and the blind, but that being one of them is the Christian ideal.
Dorothy Day once told me that the poor don’t want you to join them, they want to join you. And this is true for anybody who is in a morally compromising circumstance. What they really want is to get right. But with a twit in charge of the one entity that could help them, they’re not going to have that chance.
I disagree. Unless these two are not activists, we will know. They won’t be able to help themselves.
Pssh, that's nothing. How about if several hundred million people take daily antidepressants that cauterize their ability to feel remorse or guilt or shame for what they do, and which actually permanently damages their brains at the moleular level - are they human beings anymore?
More specifically, how do such zombies vote? For indiviudual freedom backed by personal responsibilitiy they literally can no longer feel? Or for collective bureaucracy that does not recognize humanity as a legal concept and replaces it with corporate hive obedience as the underlying premise of all law?

Neria Lejárraga was a female for the first 40 years of her life. She didn’t like the way God created her so she did something about it.....after 40 years as a woman!

Hmm. Neria may be a believer but he is NOT practicing the Catholic Faith.
If he did, I would be in trouble.
It is simple.
“Sex change” is impossible.
Sexual relations occurring between anyone other than a male husband and a female wife are mortal sins.
The person meeting with the Pope is a female, engaging in illicit relations with a female.
The Pope can hold such meetings until the end of time. He cannot make such a person into a “practicing Catholic.”
I always wondered if those “optional parts” are Viagra responsive?

Cher’s daughter is another example of a female gone bad...I think most have difficulty being a woman so their twisted minds say might be better to be a man. Castity always was battling her weight...and imagine having Cher as your mom....someone she’d never measure up to. So she went Tomboy and got carried away.
Scripture is clear about sex change. You are going to hell.
Heck if I ever wanted to change over I'd just do it, move away and start over....none of the fan fare these people constantly seek....which is "selfishness" when you boil it down.
Clearly there's an “attention” element about this....and very common among the homosexual community I understand. They don't call them “flamers” for nothing!
Hopefully, we’ll never find out! I did see a guy on that Taxicab Confessions show who was suicidal after having his penis turned into a vagina because he said he wasn’t able to feel any sexual feeling and couldn’t orgasm and aggh now I need to find the mind bleach.
