Grocery stores in New York City and around the Northeast are being overrun and cleaned out as customers brace for a "potentially historic" snow storm set to bury the region.
Shoppers tweeted photos from checkout lines at stores throughout the Northeast using the hashtags #blizzardof2015 and #Snowmageddon2015:

Yes indeed...and with the wind and temps from this blizzard there’s going to be issues.

Stabile will keep gasoline with ethanol ok for a month or so. I use Startron fuel stabilizer(it is the blue stuff).
No, there are not any local stations, within 30 miles that sell regular octane non ethanol fuel. There is one Sunoco that sells 100 octane racing fuel at $8/gallon. I buy that for my chainsaw and other two stoke engines.
The only stations in NH that sell non ethanol regular octane fuel are a couple marinas up on the big lake about 50 miles north. There are a couple small airports that sell aviation fuel.
I have friends in New York who said Sandy brought them very close to the total breakdown of civility. It showed them how little stands between them and violent chaos.
They’re saying it’s the sustained winds for 6 to 12 hours that’s going to create some real problems because the temps are going to be very cold as well.
You go out in this you will get stuck and there may not be anyone who canget thru this to get to you...(Not meaning you but idiots that think they can “play” risk)
If there is a snow-storm on the way, I’ll guaratee you that the stores are absolutely packed ... and I don’t need no stinkin’ pictures to prove it ... LOL ...
Four to five days ... and I’m out the door to the store again ... :-) ... EXCEPT when there is a snow-storm or ice-storm on the way, and then “I’m out the door right now!”
