A hard-fought battle is being waged for the allegiance of young Americans on abortion, and pro-life leaders see fresh signs of hope that Roe v. Wade wont survive the millennial generation.
Decades ago, there seemed to be no hope for the pro-life movement, yet thanks to the persistence of some pro-life leaders and development of technologies that show the reality of the beautiful human life of the child in the womb, the tide is turning toward pro-life, Princeton University law professor Robert P. George told about 2,000 attendees Friday at a conference of Students for Life of America.
I see the future, and you are it, said Mr. George, who was honored with the SFLA 2015 Defender of Life award.
The pro-life supporters were urged to stay visible, stay active and stay hopeful at the Maryland event the day after the March for Life.
When you speak, people listen, said Kristan Hawkins, president of Students for Life of America, which has more than 800 pro-life student groups on college campuses and in high schools.
Its annual conference the 28th this year is the largest pro-life youth conference in the United States, organizers said. Due to demand SFLA has more than 100 pro-life campus groups in California a second conference for students was held Sunday in San Francisco.
The conferences are intended to provide young adults with education, training and connections with pro-life groups and national leaders who all know just how vital this pro-life generation is to abolishing abortion in our lifetime, SFLA leaders said.
Abortion rights groups have been traveling to campuses and communities as part of a campaign called All Above All to bring their messages to young adults.

from the photos I saw of the Marches For Life..and the info from the people I know who marched.in them....there were a LOT of YOUNGER people at those marches!
Tje John Kerry Generation...is losing its deathgrip on the concept of abortions
It makes sense since one third of them were wiped out by abortion.
The tide began to turn in 1989 when Operation Rescue began its work. The number of abortions per year began to decrease from that year.
When I was a teen, the lie was that ‘it’s nothing more than a clump of cells.’
The Left must dehumanize what they want to destroy.
This generation of new adults have seen the ultrasounds and videos of babies in the womb since they were small children. They’ve seen videos of animals in the womb. They’ve seen videos of ultrasounds of 12 week old fetuses.
They can’t deny that life and can easily see through the lie.
Millennial Ping!
Thank God for the millennial generation. After hundreds of thousands of little voices have been silenced the liberals still insist on abortion as choice. What utter idiots. But, thank God the millennials have a brain and a conscience to stop the killing.
That makes me hopeful for the future...just a bit.
From what I’ve seen, most ‘Millennials’ don’t have children. They have pets, give them human names, and treat them as if they were their children. This applies to most all of the White people of my age that I know. Most of them refuse to marry, and just ‘shack up’. ALL of them I know refuse to have children. They just do the thing with the pets.
I haven’t yet had the heart to tell them that their dog isn’t gonna be there for them when they’re 90 years old, wipe their asses and feed them. Of course, most of them don’t think past tomorrow....
My wife doesn’t find it humorous, but when my 4 yr old yells “I need you to wipe me!” I say “OK, but I’ll be saying the same thing to you in about 30 yrs”.
IMHO, science (i.e. ultrasound technology, etc.) is exactly what’s driving younger people in the pro-life direction.
Also driving them is the way that pro-life groups use that science - at pregnancy crisis centers, etc.
At an abortion clinic, women are given these descriptions: “tissue,” “matter,” “clump of cells,” etc.
But if they are given an ultrasound, and a technician points out the beating heart, arms, and legs, there’s no denying the facts.
Yes regardless of all the evidence of decline and a rush toward societal collapse..there appears to be avery strong undercurrent in the opposite direction.
lol I’ve said similar to our kids.
“You better remember this!”
whle its not as ubiquitous as the modern computer or the internet, Ultrasound imaging is perhaps the most wonderful of all our newer technologies.
Additional reasons:
* When someone thinks they are pregnant, diagnosis is often via sonogram. The first serious revelation is via “here’s the baby’s heartbeat”.
* People announcing an impending arrival via sonogram pictures and sending baby pictures of 4D sonograms. That makes it much more real.
* The availability of Depo Provera, IUDs and other long term use it and forget about it birth control methods, and their rapid uptake by teens, makes people much less sympathetic of “I forgot my pill, I forgot a condom” excuse for unplanned pregnancies. The reaction is more “You should have got the shot if you’re too irresponsible to handle a pill”.
I personally believe that liberalism and abortions are doomed by there very nature. Most of us learn from our parents personnel belief systems Because of that the birth rate of the extreme left is very low artificially. The extreme left is killing off potential left leaning kids through abortion.
Other polling etc. indicates the very opposite, that while there is an issue with lack of marriage/kids etc., in many ways there is a push toward more family.
Those who do (which here in TX is virtually all Millennials) really emphasize family, even to the point of more working from home etc.
I.e. the sonogram. Bernard Nathanson, co-founder of NARAL, was converted to the pro-life position largely because ultrasound images showed him exactly what he was aborting. Millennials are more or less the first generation to have ultrasounds of their as-yet-unborn siblings stuck to the fridge like another baby picture. You can't easily deny that a fetus is a baby when Mom is treating it as exactly that.
Oh how I know what you mean .... Have 32 yo friend like this .... Just buys the clothes for the dogs, sends them to “lessons,” etc with absolutely no concept of how time is ticking .... At least she’s married, but she and the lazy lout husband just refuse to hatch.
Others I know are just shackin’ — t
Having too much fun to worry about commitment ....
I was born in 1966.
