I remember that blizzard. It snowed continuously for three or four days. When it stopped snowing, there were three or four feet of snow where I was living at the time. Gov. Whitman declared a state of emergency and had banned civilian vehicles on the roads. There was a busy road near me and it was quite eery to not even see a single car on that road.

We should name these blizzards. We could call this one “Every month in Rochester”.

Banned civilian vehicles? Yeah, treacherously unsafe, but still sounds dictatorial to me.
