I’ve been following this on the Daily Mail and I really think the “sex slave” claim is a misnomer and a tactical mistake. These girls weren’t slaves, they were well paid under-age prostitutes and the men who paid them are simply criminal “Johns”.
The lady saying she was a “sex slave” seems to be trying to justify her behavior (like she was in chains or something). What it ends up doing (in my opinion) is sensationalizing the matter to the point where people just think it is a tabloid “story” and don’t take it seriously.
