What this really is is comparing supply side to demand side economics...Democrats mantra against “trickle down economics”...Their claim is trickle down supply side does not work and hasn’t since Bush and Reagan did it....we’ve been doing demand side for eight years. (trickle up)

To boil it down even further, once the RATaganda terms have been stripped away:

Economic Freedom (the “old” and “failed” policy) does not work, and hasn’t since Bush and Reagan did it. Socialism is the way to go.

It’s the old give a fish versus teaching fishing argument. Giving the fish does not sustain the individual over time.

I have some non-political type friends who I bounce things off of to see what works, or can work. The fish example seems to resonate but it’s really hard to get them to understand supply side versus demand side easily.’
