As a public school teacher at one time who tried to uphold what was right, I’ve seen ALL of this happen. Very few people came to my aid. People get the kind of government they deserve, my father always said. And, he was right.

Group-think is strong among unionists and leftists. To “uphold what is right” is to infringe on the stability and force of collective influence.
