THAT’S RICH: Palm Beach Billionaire Jeff Greene Lectures Americans About Living Modestly!
Gossip Extra ^ | 1/23/15

Palm Beach billionaire Jeff Greene, who made his fortune by betting against homeowners in the mortgage and credit crisis, has been mouthing off about the lifestyle that the rest of us enjoy.

He thinks it’s too much — even though he owns America’s most expensive single-family house!

The former U.S. Senate wannabe took advantage of his presence at the Davos World Economic Forum in Switzerland to tell a worldwide audience via Bloomberg News that we, the common people, need to have fewer things.

... Greene is also known in these parts for making contractors who work on his $36 million-, 23,000-square-foot mansion in Palm Beach wait for months to get paid!

[His] mansion in Beverly Hills is on the market for $195 million, this country’s most expensive house.

Maybe it should have 22 bathrooms instead of 23. And that bowling alley? Just couldn’t live without it, right?

I think that was Marc Rich. His ex, Denise, was seen palling around with Bill Clinton towards the end of his second term. Strong antibiotics needed afterwards....

I just have no interest in things like mansions and private jets. A decent house on a couple hundred acres would be cool with me and maybe another in the upper peninsula. A security system for the yard and house and a security system to carry on my hip.

I get that humility and that’s great. I do think I’d limit the extravagance, at least given my comments on all these real estate for millionaires shows I tend to watch. Nevertheless, who knows when one comes into that much wealth, but I sure wouldn’t condescend like the Jeff Greenes of the world

If “we need fewer things”, then the first thing to go should be Jeff Greene. Ah, Soylent Greene, the food for the masses, as found in the “Green Food” section of the cookbook, “To Serve Man”.

Not only is his crib grossly overly huge, so are the giant bloat-a thon pics at that link.

The man is a perfect picture of excess. Bury him in a billion dollar coffin to cap off his life of modest means. (soon) ; )

All Dem candidates should be asked if they agree with the idiot’s statements. The follow up question would then be: Will you refuse to accept any direct or indirect donations from Mr Greene?
