I went to a Chick Fil A last month.
It was the antithesis of the McDonald's experience.
The staff were beyond friendly, the place was spotless, and Christian music was playing over the speaker in the dining area! You almost NEVER find that in a business today.
I sometimes grab a quick lunch at the nearby Steak And Shake. Some of the gals have been very sullen, and unpleasant to deal with. I put on the charm, and some come around. But the ones who don’t, don’t seem to last long at that franchise. There’s a beautiful Black girl working the counter now. She’s friendly, and her smile lights up the room. Good parenting I’d bet. Were I 40 years younger, I’d be chasing her around the parking lot!
I will not go to one if it’s owned by a ME type. That eliminates a lot of locations.
In Texas we can eat at Whataburger locations that are still owned by the family.
