Sen. Marco Rubio has begun taking concrete steps toward launching a presidential bid, asking his top advisors to prepare for a campaign, signing on a leading Republican fundraiser, and planning extensive travel to early-voting states in the coming weeks, ABC News has learned.

"He has told us to proceed as if he is running for president," a senior Rubio advisor tells ABC News

So if those 4 were the only ones on your ballot, who would you pick?

I do hope that Rubio is dumb enough to run for president. He won’t become president and he’ll lose his senate seat as well.

This is why I don’t think Rubio will run. He will flirt with it and then not run. Much easier for him to just to keep the Senate seat and lay low while amnesty gets farther away in the rear view mirror. He’s young and can still run for POTUS later.

I’d do what I have done every election starting with 2008, I’d vote for Palin and I would write her name in if I had to.

Now to help ease your mind a bit. If it was the general election and there was no possibility for write in, I would consider voting democrat only if I saw Mitt or Rubio on the ballot. I’d vote present (leave it blank) on the other two.

Cruz is building a team, but not rushing to announce yet. He has a lot on his plate. He is focused on stopping his won party from doing damaging things while taking on Obama. he will probably do a exploratory committee in March or April and announce in June. I am sure he wants to get into the August debate since the slate is limited in amount of debates.

Just a few thoughts about the 2016 presidential election.

I like Cruz the best for his straight talk which is the right talk as far as I am concerned - but I have some misgivings about his electability. None of it is his on doing - the MSM has already put him into an ‘ultra-right-wing conservative” box. I do not know whether Cruz has enough charisma to counteract that.

I also like Marco Rubio, As far as I am concerned he is a true conservative, and I have no problem with his stands on issues. I know he flirted with some sort of amnesty legislation, but he then withdrew it saying it was a mistake. [My position is that we need border control -whether it is a wall or whatever - which can control the movement of people into and out of our country. Without such a plan in place, there is no logical reason to approve an open border or amnesty. With a closed border - I think some sort of legislation cold be passed to allow undocumented persons to become citizens - they would need a job, be paying taxes, not a felon, etc.].

So, Marco Rubio could be a good candidate.

I am still waiting to see what Scott Walker does. Can he be a viable choice? If our electorate were mature enough and used their heads, then he could get elected.

With airheads voting now days, will it be necessary to have a candidate who is a good talker and good looking too? Who knows. I would like to think not, but it certain would help with the know-nothings that Jesse Watters interviews on the O’R show.

Marco Rubio has not withdrawn his love of amnesty. He has quieted down about it. But his beliefs have not changed. He believed in amnesty when he was in the Florida legislature. While neighboring states like AL and GA were passing strict immigration laws, FL which has been under republican control for some time, could never manage to get an immigration bill out of committee. That was due to Marco.

He pretended to be conservative and run for US Senate. He had widespread support across the state and was doing very well running against then republican gov. Crist for the republican senate nomination. But he had to open his mouth against what Jan Brewer was doing in AZ and his support dropped about one third. He still managed to beat Crist because he closed his mouth again.

Running against both Crist and the democrat in the general election for senate, he swore if you vote for Crist or the democrat, you’ll get amnesty. But he didn’t advertise that if you vote for him not only will you get an amnesty vote, you’ll get the biggest shill pimping amnesty for Schmucky Schumer imaginable. He was on every conservative talk show live and in advertisements saying “real” conservatives love amnesty. Aligning himself with Linsey Graham and the gang of 8, he was the most worthless anti-sovereignty, amnesty loving idiot out of all the gang of 8 eclipsing even massive RINO Linda Grahamnesty.

Real conservatives ran from him and his love of amnesty like he had the plague. So now he’s gone relatively quiet again. You think that makes him a true conservative? He’s bought and paid for by the GOPe. His present stance going along with gay marriage does not make him any more conservative. He’ll do whatever the GOPe tells him to do and they hate conservatives. Why do you think they love him?

Why don't we hear any speculation about him? Pro or con.

Candidates start running long before the official announcement, and nobody who has been paying attention has any doubt that Cruz is running.

Rubio, 43, will gather on Friday and Saturday at the Delano Hotel in Miami with 300 supporters and major donors to his Reclaim America PAC to discuss his political future.

Someone make sure he has a drink of water ahead of time.

Rubio’s back up plan is for a second term as a Florida Senator, and he knows that is toast!

Rubio will not win any elected office in Florida, ever again, as a Republican.

He will change party, if he thinks he could win as a Democrat. I expect him to do so this year.

He might give Hillary a run for the Democrat party nomination, as they have exhibited a love of liars and traitors.

Rubio is Crist, with a better natural tan.

Rubio is on the list of people who should not run. He can’t be trusted. He joined the Gang of Eight for immigration “reform” that did not solve a single problem. Bad judgment. Go away until you’ve proven yourself.
