This carb can not be saved. There is damage to both the upper and lower jets. It is one of the old Briggs & Stratton up draft carbs. They were always VERY temper mental.

The carb it saved was the float bowl type like the Tecumseh.

It was on a Generac generator. Granted it was only six months but it was more than worth the 5 bucks for the additive. I drained the tank and float bowl completely and put a heavy fuel mix of the MIC and regular gas.

They also make a storage additive called “Ethanol Shield”.
