“FYI, the mechanic said now what they recommend for long term storage is to run the machine out of the ethanol added gasoline. Then put jet fuel(NON ETHENOL)in the machine and run it for 10-15 minutes to make sure all the ethanol gasoline blend is run through the machine. Then turn it off and let it sit with the jet fuel in it for long term storage. This is the only way to not screw up the jets or fuel lines.”
Have you tried getting your gasoline from this source?
I use it for my small engines and sometimes in my truck.
I pick up some every so often.
There are not any gas station near my home that sell non-ethanol fuel. There are a few marinas and small airports, that are 30-40 miles away.
The only places that sell non ethanol fuel near me are a couple of the chainsaw, motorcycle, atv and snowmobile dealerships.
