According to the most recent information available, Steve Rattner's net worth is at least $188 million. So perhaps it's not surprising that the hedge fund partner and former Obama car czar, who flies his own private jet, doesn't deem $100G+ per year to be a "full-time" salary.
On today's Morning Joe, commenting on the arrest of Dem NYS Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver on bribery charges, Rattner claimed that "they don't pay these guys full-time salaries. They pay them, I think, $112,000 a year." In fact, as Speaker, Silver was pulling down $121,000. The median annual income in the US during the fourth quarter of 2014, assuming a 50-week work year, was $39,950.

De Blasio described him as a “a man of integrity”. Being from Chicago, my interpretation of these code words is “if you bribed him properly, he would always come through for you”. I’m sure that many in NY are sweating that he remains a man of integrity and keeps quiet in his cell. You know, like the Mafia guys do.

Boy oh boy, now I’m not sure whom to vote for Dbag of the week. Rattner or the Clown billionaire in Davos with multiple Nannies in hand proclaiming Americans need to live a more meager existence. Sometimes I think to myself the Russian revolution wasn’t such a bad thing, the thing they got wrong was that they needed to form a Representative Republic after it was all said and done. We are about due for a reset.

I always wanted to see him lose an election, but this will do just as well.
I am hoping that Cuomo get caught in this net. It would be a fitting end for that crook too.
