I am sure the members of the command were offered the carrot and the stick to testify against their platoon leader. Highly illegal but common as dirt in the UCMJ.

In the military if they want to get you, they will. Sure this gets overturned but this officer, his career as an officer is done.

Why do you think no charges were brought them?
They were told, “cooperate with us and we won’t mess with you, do not cooperate and we will royally screw you. We will ruin you and your families 20 years to go with it”.
