I believe it is the stuff from Iran’s frozen accounts, not that it matters much other than it is Obama’s way of propping up the regime there by ‘recognizing’ the Iranian revolutionary group as the ‘legitimate government.’

True but I just had a better idea - why didn’t we make claims on it for repayment of the 1979 hostage crisis? Or have we done that with other funds of theirs? Who can remember that far back?
