Face it. The country is circling the toilet bowl right before the final flush.

Last election, I voted for Romney not because I liked him but it was Anybody But Obama.

The next election I cannot conceive of a bit of difference between Bush/Clinton/Romney. Throw in Christie, Gingrich, Huckleberry, Huntsman, Ryan, Rubio or Santorum, and it still wouldn’t make any difference. I will not vote for any of ‘em. If Hillary wins so be it.

We’re beyond salvation politically.

I’d take Gingrich, Huckleberry, or Santorum.

I agree. There is a uniparty system, and any who get their start from without it at the local level, get co-opted one way or another as soon as they rise to the national level.

I’ve already faced that sad fact. The only thing I don’t know, is the timetable for full-on collapse. Rome took over a century to collapse fully, once the writing was on the wall.

Of course Rome had a few “Good Emperors” as they are called, that slowed down the decline (which we lack), and things move much faster in the modern age, so who knows...

Sadly you are correct.
The task of the communists to infiltrate and subvert this nation from within began in the Cold War and never stopped.
It picked up a head of steam early on in the universitys and worked its way to the highest offices in the country.
Now the vermin are almost universally indistinguishable from one another.
I had a friend recently tell me that he went to Panama to work on a documentary, and he was really impressed with the amount of personal and economic liberty enjoyed by the people there.
For now I’ll stay here and do what I can and hold out hope that Texas will break free before it is too late. Realistically I just don’t see it happening. The FedGov is just too powerful (and dependent) to let such a resource rich and productive state slip away.
I suppose I’ll know it’s time to leave when they put up a wall between Texas and Mexico.
Because they’ll never put one up to keep out invaders. But they will surely follow the Soviet model of putting one up to keep us from leaving.
May God help us.
