Hillary Rodham Clinton holds double-digit leads over potential Republican challengers Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney as the likely Democratic presidential candidate moves closer to entering the race, a new Washington Post-ABC News poll finds.
Although Clinton, Bush and Romney are all longtime politicians and members of political dynasties, registered voters are less likely to count that familiarity against Clinton. That is a good sign for Clinton, a failed 2008 presidential candidate and the focus of Republican criticism that her time has come and gone.
Clintons potential to make history as the first female U.S. president makes little difference to most voters and is a net positive for others.

so when are people going to state she is a homosexual?
seems no opposition research is being brought out.
Speaking of stale, how do ya think Hillary's gonna look after a year and a half of hard campaigning??
They'll have to bring in the guys who maintain Lenin and Mao to top her up a git, I imagine....
I do not believe this poll.
The only reason PIAPS is not POTUS now is because Americans feel more guilt over race than sexism. So with that out of the way they will vote for PIAPS.
In a way I hope the hag does run. Then I would hope for a really dirty democrat primary so that she will be damaged. Then the republican candidate needs to go full force against her with no limits.
Put the beast down once and for all!
Got me there.
Like Yog-Sothoth’s daughter!
And smell even worse!
Great — well, with the upcoming bubbles and likely inevitable collapse, seeing it all go down under Shrillary would kinda be fun to watch.
Yep, they’re getting an early start in framing the narrative, which is that Democrats will rise again. They got a little complacent in the last election, they won’t make that mistake this time.
Oh, noes! The Republicans shouldn’t even run!
In seriousness, this is about name recognition.
You could put in Kim Kardashion and she’d be the leading candidate at this early stage.
If even a fraction of those leads hold, we’re cooked as a country. Might as well move to Texas and pray for a secession movement. Obama won by 4% with 332 electoral votes.. even if she wins by only 1 or 2%, she still gets to 270, since the Dims control too many big states.
Scalia and Kennedy are 78. I don’t like the idea of taking chances with their health for another 6 or (God forbid) another 10 years.
There are precious few in the GOP who are people of character and principle (e.g. Cruz, Jindal, Lee). Unfortunately, the party machine will never support them or allow them to rise to levels of prominence and influence. Really sad.
True.
Those running the GOP and the RNC have a massive love fest for liberalism going on.
Look at how they shoved Mitt Romney, the most liberal candidate they could dig up yet, down our throats.
Be worried, we no longer live in the 90’s... two decades of low information voters have been churned out by liberal universities all across America.
Jeb Bush.... hmmm... does his brother make beer?
Mitt Romney... who is that?
Cruz for me...I live in a state where our primary is so late it doesn’t matter. If he’s not the nominee I write him in anyway. Please no lectures about the lesser of two evils. Wont’ change my mind as evil is still evil.
I’ve already faced that sad fact. The only thing I don’t know, is the timetable for full-on collapse. Rome took over a century to collapse fully, once the writing was on the wall.
Of course Rome had a few “Good Emperors” as they are called, that slowed down the decline (which we lack), and things move much faster in the modern age, so who knows...
Hmmmm...So there are 32 Republicans to chose from and 1 Democrat...Talk about a completely meaningless poll...
Proof that we have no shortage of stupidity in the country.
