WASHINGTON — The Justice Department has begun work on a legal memo recommending no civil rights charges against a white police officer in Ferguson, Mo., who killed an unarmed black teenager in August, law enforcement officials said.
That would close the politically charged case in the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown. The investigation by the F.B.I., which is complete, found no evidence to support civil rights charges against the officer, Darren Wilson, the officials said.
A broader civil rights investigation into allegations of discriminatory traffic stops and excessive force by the Ferguson Police Department remains open, however. That investigation could lead to significant changes at the department, which is overwhelmingly white despite serving a city that is mostly black.

If I recall correctly, felons, former gang members, and people who cannot speak, read, and write common English, are not likely to be hired into the law enforcement career field.
While in the past, that was true. Now , in the age of quotas, Affirmative Action, etal. I would not bet the farm that this is true now. If one is the correct color, the correct sexual orientation, the correct religion that is all that is needed. If one is the correct color, sexual orientation, religion, that is all that is required.
This news should have been released yesterday morning before Bronco Bama’s SOTU speech. But we all know why it wasn’t.

Never let a crisis go to waste. Get brown people innocently rioting killed by racist whites defending their families and property and it’s win/win for libs. Less brown people to drain lib profits and a scapegoat to blame it on.

Oh well, they did manage to destroy Wilsons life, and livelihood. All was not lost......
Ferguson was primarily white in the recent past. Does that mean when white neighborhoods are busted white city employees must lose their jobs?
And when there's white gentrification dost that mean blacks can be fired for being too large a part of city government? Holder needs to come up from under the rock and tell us if this works both ways.
