Yes it is. Running from the police is probable cause for arrest and if you go on trial it won’t sound good to the jury. The prosecutor will bring it up at every possible opportunity.
There are lots of people who DIDN’T run and got the crap beat out of them. Running might be a better option. If you’re really fast.
