Bruni asks, "Would we be content to let a Muslim store owner who believes that a woman should always cover her hair refuse service to women who do not? Or a Mormon hairdresser who spurns coffee to turn away clients who saunter in with frappuccinos?"

Bad analogies.

No one is forcing the Muslim to uncover her own hair. Nor does she have to endorse uncovered hair in order to wait on the woman in her shop.

No one is forcing the Mormon to drink coffee. Nor does she have to endorse coffee drinking as a requirement of doing the coffee drinker's hair.

The gays came into the bakery and the photographers shops and insisted that they PARTICIPATE in the behavior forbidden to the shop owner.

Even more, I don’t have someone demanding and suing me to believe that Mormon marriages are eternal, I don’t have someone demanding that I should eat kosher with the threat of a lawsuit, etc.

This editor really hates somebody, that’s for sure.
