Yup, or they will say that if you are not in the “federal program” your local law and state law enfocement cannot forfeiture seizure...
It is another carrot to get local law enforcement to “Federalise”
Biggest mistake Reagan ever made. He badly damaged conservatism by allowing everyone to color his big government policies as "conservative." We let him ride in under our banner, so we got to take the blame for his very anti-conservative ideas and policies, which did of course blow up in his face.
If he hadn't lied to us about raising taxes, he never would have gotten elected.

That's exactly what will happen. The bright side of it though, is that there are a few states that have put a stop to asset forfeirure that the local thugs in blue have been getting around by involving feds in the cases, so they'd get a cut. This should put a stop to that.
Now we need to also get this unamerican practice stopped at the federal level as well as the rest of the states.
