Duh, low sodium can quickly be fatal to any animal. High sodium, well it will make you very thirsty, but I have never heard of anyone dying from it.

Our bodies know what they need. If you eat to much salt, most of it will get flushed away with your urine, because the body tends not to retain what it doesn’t need.

Well you have clearly not heard of the traditional Chinese suicide by salt used by ancient Chinese nobility. If you eat about 2 pounds of salt if will kill you.
