I would like to personally defund Amnesty by not paying taxes. I mean, if there are so many illegals that are not obligated at all to pay taxes, and by executive edict they remain unpunished and yet are given every entitlement out there, maybe I should drop off the radar as well?

We need to make the tax system simpler, not more complex. But there are powerful interests against this.
I saw the post and thought "he meant to say 'way station'" but then, with Mooshelle's obsession with mandating diet and weight control perhaps 'weigh station' also fits :-)

The fit is about to hit the shan.
There is no way for anybody to properly file an income tax return on the Federal level that is not, in some way or another, out of compliance with some part of the code.
Complexity is only part of the problem. There are provisions which are directly contradictory to other provisions, and the sorry thing is, they BOTH apply.
The temptation to not even bother to file grows stronger every day. Up to now, IRS has relied on the fear of audit to force taxpayers to comply, but what if they get so many non-compliant persons, it becomes impossible to impose sentence on more than a small fraction of tax resisters, while the remainder range free?
The whole concept of enforcement breaks down.

They have more reason to be objective about it than Big Insurance does (which is getting a large lagniappe from our tax dollars in addition to already screaming premiums).
If it takes this kind of fire drill to get Low Information America uncomfortably familiar with the IRS, then it’s worth it. When the gibsmedats meet the takesumdats, the sparks will fly.
