Used to have a 4-door 1956 Chevy in high school. Had bench seats front and rear, no console, no seat belts, etc. Was great for dates... When I was a senior, we once got 11 people in the car, with only a few of the girls sitting on laps. Was a great car!
Alright, you nailed me. There have been times I've missed my turn because I was busy talking on the phone.
As for those drivers in the left lane going slow, holding up traffic and making everyone else pass on them on the right, they should be given a traffic citation...and five years in jail!
In your study of local budgets you must have missed the obvious police state that is around us now. 200-500 fines with jail if unpaid is the new debt prisons. Cameras that send tickets, fandom stop and searches directly against our founding principles. We are trading security for freedom. Pew will get neither. If you are being genuine then forgive me. The big government, crony capitalist, super government is at the door. The police are but pawns but they are on the board moving against freedom and liberty. Please dear god open the peoples eyes before this country fades and with it the age of science, freedom and enlightenment.
Some people think they will prosper, some like the order, some just don’t want to make decisions. None will get what they expect. The police power abuse is just the tip of the spear. Conditioning.
In Alberta, you get a ticket if you were drinking a coffee or coke or water.

So if the tickets are not accounted for are the cops just putting the cash in their pockets? hahahah I can say with surety that either the ticket revenue is accounted for in the budget or someone is breaking the law.

Many years ago my father told me of a driver who was making all kinds of crazy hand signals. This was back when sticking your arm out of the window to make a signal was the norm instead of using blinkers. The person behind couldn’t figure out what was going on. Finally he had a chance to pull alongside and look—the driver was eating glazed donuts and trying to get the glaze off her fingers.
I did it just today, but not a McDonald’s burger! I have some taste, it was a Five Guys burger.
