Putin Cuts Off Gas Supply To Six European Countries Without Warning
Forbes ^ | 1/18/2015 @ 4:03PM | Paul Gregory

Posted on 01/18/2015 2:50:54 PM PST by dila813

On January 14, Vladimir Putin ordered Russia’s natural gas monopoly, Gazprom, to cut back by 60% the natural gas delivered to Europe through Ukraine. His ostensible reason: Ukraine was illegally siphoning off gas for its own use—a charge Ukraine denies. Overall Europe depends on Russia for 30% of its gas supplies, and some 80% of Europe’s Russian natural gas comes via Ukraine. Putin’s order would leave six countries in eastern and southeastern Europe totally without gas.

Click the source of their info, second line of the article “cut back”.

That article is 6 years old. We have had several articles this week on this nonsense, all sourced to the same article.

Israel is developing some huge natural gas resources, but I think we’ll only sell to our friends. Does that include those six You’re-a-peon states? If not, let them heat with their own brain farts.

No, he is citing the run up to this.

They have actually cut the gas now, effective Jan 14th.

That’s not the source, that is a background of the run up to this.

This occurred on Jan 14th. Read the article.

Linky, they don’t come up in search.

If I am doing something wrong searching key words I would like to know.

I would have expected articles posted on this topic, but I could find none regarding this new change in gas supplies starting Jan 14th

I didn’t say repeated articles ... but repeated “posts”. There’s a difference.

I read the article, it claims the gas is now going to be shipped into a pipeline that is not built yet.

Sorry, I’ve read several of these this past week. All sourced to the same article. All wrong.

Sorry to see this poor reporting from Forbes.

Putin needs dollars. This makes no sense.

Russkie strategic actions don't make sense to civilized people. Never have. Whatever the ravenous bear is up to, it is not good.

When you do a search, you are checking to see if the article has been posted before. That’s what you’re talking about. What I’m talking about is the “story” itself, which has been repeatedly posted before.

Why not, we surrendered to Mexico, surrendered our sovereignty, all while we totally support Communist countries which we’re now up to our necks in debt to. On and on it goes.

There is no need for America to surrender to Russia, Communist China etc... We’re just giving it away, through decades long reckless domestic and foreign policies, which have looted and decimated the American treasure.

This has been going on for many years and is nothing new.

Or they could take those coal-fired plants out of mothballs.

Not a bad idea! I wonder where the jet stream goes when it leaves Europe, carrying the exhaust from all those coal-fired power plants?

There is an existing pipeline. Your mistake is thinking there is only one. Existing Pipeline
