I’d say that the whole treatment, that will last until
December 9, 2015, is “dragging on...” Sigh...
At least they get the most destructive and unpleasant
parts over in the very beginning first few months.

Well, that’s what I meant. The truly bad stuff will be over with in a few months. Getting the worst of it over with is half the battle. None of it’s pleasant.

Yes, I see.
I can tell you that I will be a very happy woman when they finally take the metal port and catheter out of my arm. It is extremely hard to get
used to it, although it doesn’t bother me so much as it used to when they first put it in. It’s creepy, and Bryan calls it my “Borg Implant.” ;-)

You guys are cracking me up here! No laughing at my Borg Implant!
The generator guy came about a half-hour late to take a look at why
it struggles when the temperature gets below 15°F.
The generator does a 20-minute self test every Saturday morning.
Two Saturdays ago, it was really having a bad time trying to keep
the propane coming in for the test. There’s a heater in its enclosure,
but it just wasn’t enough to beat the 12° cold. The huge propane
tank is about 50’ away from the generator and the house.
The guy is working on it now.

Goodness! I hope he finds the problem! I’ve watched some home shows where they are improperly installed and after being reworked they were warm and efficient.

Oh, no. It's a back-up generator for power outages, not something we use all the time.
Our power used to go out every time there was a thunderstorm or even a wind storm.
We got tired of that, and we bought a whole-home back-up generator. Of course, it
never kicked in for months after we got it, but when we really needed it, it worked
perfectly until the main power was was restored. It's a smart generator. It comes on
instantly when the power fails, and it knows when to shut itself off when power is
back on again. It's really great.
