Police say a Florida man wounded his wife in a shooting at a mall food court that left two dead.
Melbourne Police Cmdr. Vince Pryce says 57-year-old Jose Garcia Rodriguez of Palm Bay died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound Saturday at the Melbourne Square Mall. Pryce says Garcia's 33-year-old wife Ida was hospitalized in good condition.
Another man also died in the shooting. His name wasn't released, and Pryce said his relationship to the Garcias remained under investigation.
Pryce says three guns were recovered and Garcia had "several pockets full of ammunition."
Police say about 100 people were in the mall preparing to open stores when officers responded to reports of multiple gunshots around 9:30 a.m. The mall was evacuated and remained closed Saturday.

Stoopit Paul Blart...
Sounds like 57-year-old Jose shot his much-younger wife, her new boyfriend, and himself.
Been a rash of violence lately in malls. I have no idea why.
Statistics, I suspect: it’s winter, so more people are in malls than are there in the spring.
In this case, the mall wasn’t open yet. Probably both the wife and the other man worked there.
And he’s a pirate
I think the dead wife lived...the live boyfriend didn’t.
